THANK YOU FOR VISITING OUR SITE! The Alger-Sullivan Historical Society, Inc., is a not-for-profit organization; we are only able to survive through your contributions and donations. If you have collectibles, artifacts or other items you'd care to donate to the Society, please contact us. Lots of people have commemorated their loved ones this way. Also, if you have connections with the mill or the people of Century, consider joining the Society - meetings are held every third Tuesday at the Old Leach House Museum, at 6:00 p.m. We have outstanding guest speakers and refreshments are served every meeting.

We encourage your questions and comments! You may call us at one of the following numbers: 850-256-2029, 850-256-3980 or 850-256-0473.

More pictures, collectibles and examples of the logging and lumber industries of the late 1800s and the 1900s are displayed in our three (FREE!) museums: The Boxcar Museum, the Post Office Museum and the restored Leach House Museum, all located in historic James Houston Jones Park in Century, Florida. Museums are open by appointment - email us or call one of the numbers above to schedule your visit. Groups are welcome !

This site will be updated as time permits, so come back often to check out the changes! In the meantime, click on one of the links below.

Many of the pictures on this site are loaned to us by "Photo by Fischer," Century, Florida. You can order your personal copy of these photos by calling 850-256-3980
